💔 Rescue Story

Shelly was simply dumped outside the foster home. We don’t know where she lived before or why somebody decided to leave this young girl behind. Thankfully, she was taken in and is now safe, living indoors while waiting for a proper family of her own.

Shelly doesn’t rush straight into friendships. With someone new, she watches and waits while she works out who you are.

Once she knows you, everything changes. She comes over for strokes, enjoys cuddles and shows what a wonderfully affectionate and tender young dog she really is. ❤️

Dogs make the world much easier for Shelly. She loves their company and enjoys playing, but importantly, she also watches and copies them. A confident canine friend will help her understand her new routine and settle much faster.

Her energy also adapts naturally to those around her — she can happily join in with play when the other dogs are having fun, without needing constant activity.

Shelly needs a friendly, confident resident dog who can be her companion, playmate and guide.

A peaceful home with a secure garden would be ideal, with people who are happy to give her a little time rather than expecting instant confidence. Calm, dog-savvy children aged 10+ could suit her well.

She doesn’t need pushing or “fixing” — just the right environment to let her naturally blossom.
