🐾 Meet Rocco, a delightful two-year-old French Bulldog boy with soft eyes, a cheeky streak, and a love for cuddles and tennis balls in equal measure. Small in size but large in personality, he’s been let down far too many times – but his heart is still wide open for love.

💔 Rescue Story
Rocco’s journey hasn’t been easy. After being bought online, he was returned to rescue just 24 hours later — through no fault of his own. He had a cherry eye (now operated and healed) and was deemed “too much” for a household with very small children. We took him in, got him the veterinary care he needed, and promised we’d find the forever home he truly deserves.
Recently, Rocco went for a trial and we had high hopes. But sadly, he’s looking again. It’s not about him misbehaving —the family’s young child didn’t feel fully at ease with Rocco’s eager, playful ways. Though he’s a sweet boy with a gentle heart, Rocco’s energy and his love of interaction were a bit overwhelming for a toddler.
🐶 More About Rocco
Rocco is a fun-loving, intelligent dog who quickly responds to structure and boundaries. He’s very playful, loves balls and garden time, and forms bonds fast. In his recent home, he slept through the night, was fully housetrained, and enjoyed sunbathing after a good play.
He thrives on attention and companionship, and he’s been absolutely fine being left alone for a few hours after a walk. He’s one of those dogs who just wants to be good and adored — and he’ll repay your time and patience with cuddles, laughter, and loyalty.
🏡 Ideal Home
Rocco would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the day, at least during the first weeks of settling in. He would suit an active family with older, dog-savvy children or a couple looking for a fun and cuddly companion. A secure garden would be a real bonus, as he loves to play outdoors.
He could live with a friendly female dog (we always recommend male dogs be paired with females), or as a solo dog soaking up all the attention. Breed experience is helpful, but most of all Rocco needs a family ready to include him, guide him, and make him part of the pack.
