Regina is 8 months old and pure joyful energy wrapped in a gentle heart. She doesn’t hesitate — she runs straight to people, ready to be close, ready to feel needed. She looks bigger on pictures, but in reality, is below the knee now, although still will grow 2-3 cm taller.

💔 Rescue Story
Like her sister Jilly, Regina was abandoned in a box outside a vet clinic as a tiny puppy. No one should start life like that — and yet Regina grew into a dog who still trusts, still loves, still runs towards people as if the world has always been kind.

Regina is a bright always “positive girl” — the type who brings energy into a room without being too much. She’s playful and lively, and she loves carrying toys to people as if she’s proudly delivering presents. She really tries to catch your attention, not in a naughty way — in a “please notice me, please need me” way. She wants to feel important in someone’s life.

She loves dogs and enjoys playing, though she can feel unsure with large unfamiliar dogs at first. She is learning lead skills and making good progress.

Regina would be happiest with a friendly dog companion, because she truly enjoys canine company. At the same time, if she has someone always around and will be not left alone for long especially the first months of settlement and with older children in the home who will play with her and keep her engaged, she may be able to live as the only dog — as long as she gets plenty of interaction and doesn’t feel left out.
