💔 Background / Circumstances
Patch has lived with the same family since he was 12 weeks old. He has grown up in a home with many children. Sadly, changes in work patterns and family dynamics mean Patch is now spending long periods alone, without the exercise, and attention he thrives on.

🐾 More About Patch
Patch is a big-hearted, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. He loves food, cuddles, freedom to run, and interactive games like fetch and tug-of-war. Once he’s burned off some energy, he settles beautifully and enjoys calm companionship.

He knows his basic commands well — here, sit, lie down, paw, wait, in your bed — and is eager to please. On the lead, he can be strong at the start of walks, but once he’s had 10–15 minutes to decompress, he walks nicely with a loose lead.

Patch is crate trained and happily sleeps in his crate overnight. He travels very well in the car and is used to longer journeys. At home, he is clean, settled, and easy to live with.

He is enthusiastic rather than clumsy, which is why very young children can feel overwhelmed — not because Patch is unkind, but because he forgets his size when he’s happy.

🏡 Ideal Foster / Home
Patch will thrive in an active, dog-experienced home where he can enjoy regular walks, time outdoors, and meaningful companionship. A secure garden would be ideal so he can stretch his legs and relax in his own space. He would suit adults or a family with older, dog-savvy children who understand his size and enthusiasm. Patch needs people who are around, who enjoy including their dog in daily life, and who can offer consistency, structure, and affection rather than long hours alone.
