💔 Rescue Story
Some stories leave even the strongest hearts trembling — and Nicol’s is one of them.
One day, a man appeared at the gates of a small shelter, holding Nicol on a piece of rope. He asked them to take her in, but the shelter was already full — there was simply no space. When told no, he turned away in frustration and headed towards the railway tracks, muttering that he would throw her under a train.
The volunteers ran after him and managed to save her just in time. From that moment on, Nicol became one of the most affectionate dogs they’ve ever known, as if she understood that kindness had just given her another chance at life.
Since then, Nicol has lived in foster care, and her gratitude shines in everything she does — in her wagging tail, her warm hugs, and her endless eagerness to please.

Nicol is a volcano of joy — a dog who greets every day as if it’s the best one ever. She adores her humans, seeking affection, hugs, and kisses. She’s incredibly smart and quick to learn, especially when treats and praise are involved.
Playtime is her favourite part of the day — she loves running, chasing toys, and wrestling playfully with other dogs. However, her enthusiasm can be a bit much for calmer or older dogs, so she would thrive either as the only dog in the home (with plenty of doggy playdates) or with a confident, playful male dog who matches her energy.
She lives in a home environment, is fully housetrained, and walks well on the lead, though can sometimes pull of excitement. Nicol’s joy, warmth, and love for people make her a truly special soul — one who deserves the best life after all she’s been through.
