๐ŸŒŸ NO ADOPTION FEES. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡งโฟฎ Scotland, Forfar, DD8

๐Ÿ’” Urgent. This is the last chance for Millie. If we canโ€™t find an understanding home, people will put her to sleep.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE is such a special girl. She has so much to give, she just needs to find a loving understanding forever home.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE has on the whole a sweet temperament. She is around 3 years old. Spayed. Medium size 49 cm height, 16kg. She is friendly with everyone – kids, dogs, cats. Great on the lead, although can be take a dislike to some dogs off the lead if they approach. Housetrained. Unfortunately, at night she does guard her bed and needs to have her own space. Currently, she takes herself off to her crate when she wants to be left alone. Anytime she needs space, she needs to be left alone or she will growl and bark. This settles with time.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE likes to play with toys and interact with dogs, but she also knows when to walk away.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE is great on the lead and off the lead, she is treat led at times to come back if there is distractions. She is fine in the house, out on walks or she is happy to lie in the sun in the garden.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE has no issue with reactions to noise, cars, bikes etc.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE eats well, but weโ€™ve found it best not to leave any treats out for her as she tries to guard it.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE travels well and is happy to see everyone. She is also ok to be left alone. She sometimes chews her bed but hasnโ€™t chewing anything other than this or any difficult behaviour other than her being nervous at night and guarding.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE becomes very nervous around 8pm. A crate is used as a safe place and she had been progressing very well. It can take up to a couple of months for her to settle in a new home and for this to improve. She has been to a few homes for trials or for fostering. Unfortunately, each time she has been brought back due to her anxiety and has had to start right back again. This is not fair on Millie and if a suitable home canโ€™t be find who can work with her and her insecurities, we are running out of options. She has so much to give for the right person, but they need to understand when to leave her alone while she settles or she may bite. This has not happened in the current foster carers but has in the past.

๐Ÿถ MILLIE needs the right home and She will be a total joy to be around and really deserves to find her forever home. She is such a clever dog. She would make an amazing dog for someone that has experience and patience. โค
