💔 My heart is honestly breaking. I don’t understand why nobody sees this beautiful young girl. No applications. No enquiries. No interest.

She is a young, healthy, beautiful lower-medium dog with no any hard behavioural issues, no impossible requirements.

And yet somehow she remains completely invisible. I don’t know what else I can do to make people notice her. I am ready to sing, dance, stand on my head… but I doubt even that would help.

Please look at Lila. Her current family have already done far more than we could reasonably expect. We are incredibly grateful to them. But they cannot continue much longer.

The reality is that Lila is living in an environment that simply does not meet her needs. She is a young, intelligent dog who needs activity, companionship, adventures and mental stimulation. Instead she finds herself in a busy household with young children, visitors, cats, constant management and very little opportunity to relax and be understood.

Lila is NOT hyperactive. She is not “too much.” She is simply receiving too little of what she actually needs.

A young dog, who is getting not enough mental engagement will eventually start creating her own entertainment. Unfortunately, that entertainment rarely matches what humans would choose.

Her foster recently told us: “I am doing my best but I cannot keep this up much longer at all.” And honestly, we understand. This is not the right environment for Lila, and it is not fair on the family either. The children are becoming increasingly uncomfortable around her. The household is under growing pressure. We are reaching the point where a move can no longer be delayed.

If we cannot find a foster home in next few days, Lila will likely have to move into kennels. And she absolutely does not deserve that.

She deserves woodland walks. Fields. Adventures. A dog friend to play with. A person to follow. A home where she can finally relax and become the dog she was always meant to be.

🐾 Meet Lila
Lila is an 18-month-old medium-sized girl, around knee height, with the intelligence and sensitivity typical of a young dog.

✨ Highlights ✨

• SIZE: Lower-medium (42–44 cm)
• SPAYED: Yes
• CHARACTER: Gentle • Sensitive • Loving • Clever • Affectionate
• DOGS: Friendly and would benefit enormously from a friendly canine companion of around her size or a bit bigger
• CATS: Not suitable to live with cats
• CHILDREN: Calm, dog-savvy older children 10+

💔 Rescue Story
Lila was brought to safety from eastern Ukraine after war destroyed the home of the man caring for her. When he was later forced to leave, the dogs risked being abandoned entirely. Thankfully, Lila was rescued before that happened.

🐾 More About Lila
Lila absolutely loves people. From the moment she arrived in the UK she sought cuddles, affection and connection.

She walks beautifully on lead, loves being close to her people and has a wonderfully gentle nature.

Underneath that lovely personality is a dog who still lacks confidence and is trying to make sense of the world around her. She needs predictability. She needs guidance. She needs a chance to feel safe.

🏡 Ideal Home

Lila would thrive with active, kind people who enjoy the outdoors and want a companion to share everyday life with. A rural or semi-rural enviroment would suit her beautifully.

A friendly resident dog would be a huge bonus. We think she would absolutely love having a canine friend to play with, learn from and cuddle up beside.

Most importantly, she needs people who understand that sensitive dogs bloom when given time, routine and kindness.

💞 Please don’t let Lila become another young dog lost in kennels. All she needs is someone willing to say: “Come on then, Lila. Let’s go home.” ❤️

🩺 Health Information
Lila is healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (licensed laboratory certificate provided).
