❤️🐶 LIANA – NO PUSHING, NO DEMANDS… JUST THE GENTLEST LOVE 🐶❤️

Liana is a 1-year-old small girl with the tender, delicate nature. She doesn’t push herself forward or demand attention. She isn’t feral, she doesn’t hide, but likes to watch first, understand that everything is safe — and then quietly make her way closer.

And when she does, she is like a little kitten: soft, affectionate and very happy to be held. ❤️

💔 Rescue Story

Liana’s life could have taken a very different direction before it had really even begun. As a little puppy, she was simply handed over to a driver who works for a rescue shelter.

Thankfully, this time being passed into someone’s hands meant safety. She was taken into rescue care and has grown into the beautiful, gentle young girl she is today.

But growing up safe in a shelter isn’t the same as growing up in a family.Liana has spent enough of her young life waiting. Now she needs the chance to discover what having her own home actually means.

🐾 More About Liana

This summer, during my annual trip to Ukraine, I visited Liana’s shelter and met her myself. And I can confirm — she is adorable. ❤️

Small, tender, gentle and almost feline in the way she seeks affection once she feels comfortable. Liana wasn’t the dog who immediately ran into my arms. She needed a little time to observe.

But sit down on the floor and let her watch the other dogs happily approach for fuss, and suddenly you realise she has quietly appeared beside you too — gently waiting for her turn.

That’s Liana. No pushing. No demanding. No overwhelming you.

Just a young dog who wants affection very much but first needs to know that it is safe to ask for it.

Other dogs make an enormous difference to her confidence. Liana watches them closely and learns from their reactions. Seeing a trusted dog happily approach a new person tells her far more effectively than we ever could: “It’s okay. This person is safe.” For this reason, Liana definitely needs another dog in her future home — ideally friendly, calm and confident, but still playful enough to enjoy life with her.

Once comfortable, Liana loves canine games herself. She is an active young girl, but she is also obedient and responsive.

She also has a passion for toys — particularly collecting as many as possible and transporting them all back to her bed. 😁

🏡 Ideal Home

Liana needs a kind, patient home with another friendly resident dog. She doesn’t need months of intensive work or someone constantly trying to encourage her. What she needs is actually much simpler: don’t push.

Give her little time to observe. Let her canine friend make the introductions. Sit nearby and allow Liana to make that final little journey towards you herself.

We would also consider a family with calm, respectful children aged 10+ who understand that friendship with Liana should be invited rather than demanded. Given that understanding, we believe she could love them deeply.

A secure garden would be very beneficial, giving her somewhere safe to play and explore while she adjusts to her completely new world.

💞 Liana’s love may need to be earned — but you’ll be not waiting very long. She already has an enormous gift prepared for the person patient enough to let her offer it in her own way.

Sit down. Don’t call her repeatedly. Don’t reach for her. Fuss and play with your other dog. Just wait. Soon enough, you may look back and discover a little gentle girl has quietly appeared beside you, waiting for her turn to be loved.

And what Liana gives back will be worth many times more than those few moments you spent earning her trust. ❤️
