Laya is around 4 years old, a medium girl with an exceptionally gentle, calm and balanced nature. She loves affection but is not too demanding — she will run happily to meet you, but when you are busy, she simply comes over quietly and waits to be stroked. ❤️

She enjoys canine company, but people are her priority. Give Laya a kind human and a good long walk, and she is a very happy girl.

💔 Rescue Story

Laya lived with other dogs on the grounds of a business. Tragically, many of those dogs were deliberately poisoned. Laya was one of the lucky ones who didn’t eat the poison and survived.

She is safe in rescue now, but currently lives in a shelter and is waiting for the family life this beautiful girl deserves.

I met Laya myself during my summer visit to Ukraine, and I can support every word her carers say about her. She is incredibly sweet, social and cuddly — a real treasure of a dog. ❤️

Laya is one of their easiest and loveliest dogs — the kind of dog who could bring happiness to many different families.

She walks beautifully on the lead, patiently waits to toilet outside and absolutely loves long, peaceful walks.

With people, Laya is not fearful and gentle. She calmly approaches, waits for affection and enjoys every stroke without becoming demanding.

She is friendly with other dogs and enjoys having them around, although if given the choice, Laya would rather be beside her human. ❤️

🏡 Ideal Home

Laya would love a peaceful home with a secure garden and access to lovely green walks.

She could happily share her home with a friendly dog, but another dog isn’t essential — human companionship matters most to her.

She could also live with sensible children aged 6+ and would suit a family looking for a calm, affectionate companion rather than a busy dog.

💞 Laya really doesn’t ask for much: someone to love, peaceful walks to enjoy together and a comfortable place beside her people afterwards. She survived when so many dogs around her sadly didn’t. Now we want her to do much more than survive. We want this beautiful, gentle girl to have a life she can truly enjoy. ❤️
