Kuzya is a 10-month-old small boy, incredibly gentle, affectionate, and emotionally soft. He is the kind of dog who quietly leans into people for comfort, almost as if he’s still asking whether he’s truly welcome. Once he realises the answer is “yes”, his whole little face lights up. 💙

💔 Rescue Story

When Kuzya was just a tiny puppy, he and his sister were thrown into a roadside cornfield. Hidden among the tall plants, they had almost no chance of being found.

By pure luck, a local boy went looking for his lost scooter nearby. Instead, he found two frightened little puppies whose lives depended on someone noticing them. That lucky accident saved Kuzya’s and his sister’s lives.

Kuzya lives in a summer kitchen and has a wonderfully gentle nature. When meeting new people, he comes over for affection, but at the same time he quietly watches their reaction, almost as if he’s checking whether he’ll be accepted or sent away.

It is heartbreaking and incredibly touching. Once he feels safe, he becomes pure tenderness.

He loves being stroked, enjoys staying close to his people, and has no demanding or pushy behaviour whatsoever. His affection is quiet, polite, and deeply genuine.

Kuzya adapts his energy to the company around him. If other dogs are playing, he’ll happily join in, running and having fun, but he is equally content to settle down and simply enjoy being close to his family.

He gets on beautifully with other dogs, although large confident dogs can scares him a little unsure. The centre of Kuzya’s world, however, is people.

And children… The moment he hears children’s laughter, his whole body seems to brighten. He absolutely adores them and seems happiest when surrounded by family life.

Kuzya would be happy either as an only dog or with another kind, friendly companion. That matters most to him isn’t another dog — it’s having loving people always around him.

He would make a wonderful family dog and would especially thrive in a home where gentle dog-savvy children are part of everyday life.
