💔 Rescue Story
Javy’s story is one of survival against the odds. She was found abandoned in a forest strip, dehydrated and exhausted. She was so frail that rescuers initially believed she was younger than she really was. But Javy’s spirit was unbroken, and with care and love, she recovered – revealing herself to be the sweetest, most trusting girl.
Today, Javy lives in a foster home in Ukraine, where she is loved and cared for. But her foster home is heartbreakingly close to a military base that is frequently targeted by missiles and drones. Every explosion terrifies her to the point of near collapse. Rescuers are desperately pleading to find her a home in the UK, fearing her little heart might not cope with every next attack.

Javy is a gentle soul who adores people and trusts everyone she meets. She loves nothing more than cuddles, gentle affection, and being near her humans. She is playful but calm, enjoys her toys – especially balls – and is well-mannered both indoors and out.
She’s wonderful with other dogs and would be happy either as an only pet with people always around or with a friendly furry companion. She is also suitable for calm, dog-savvy children who will treat her with kindness and patience.
