💔 Rescue Story
Iris was brought out of rural town in the Donetsk region – a place scarred by war. She grew up with the sounds of artillery and aircraft above her, learning to survive in fear rather than comfort. The world has not been kind to her, and yet, she never gave up.
Now, safe with rescuers, she trembles at loud noises, but she’s slowly learning that not all sounds mean danger. And behind her initial shyness, there is a heart full of love, just waiting for someone patient enough to help it shine.

Iris is a delicate, thoughtful girl. She’s cautious at first, but once she learns she is safe, she melts – leaning in for strokes, following her person, and showing her gentle, affectionate side. She is good with other dogs, especially calm and respectful companions, but can feel uneasy around very excitable or pushy ones.
She is not tested with cats, but her sensitive, non-confrontational nature suggests she would adjust well with proper introductions. A quiet home will be her sanctuary, where she can take her time to bloom into the sweet, loving companion she is meant to be.
