💔 Rescue Story
Ghost arrived weak and emaciated, along with a huge tumour. His legs are deeply scabbed and scared caused by pressure sores from the conditions he was kept in for who knows how long. He came with his eyes filled with deep sadness but each day they’re getting brighter and brighter.
🐾 More About Ghost
Ghost is a friendly and playful golden oldie that has endured suffering that we can never understand but hasn’t stopped him being a playful, affectionate and loyal boy.
He loves a cuddle, once invited up he will come and sit next to you or occasionally snuggle in closer and comes onto your lap for a huge cuddle. He loves to go on short walks while he builds up his muscles and is always excited to get out the door. Ghost can be left happily for 4+ hours and sleeps well in the kitchen on his own.
Ghost does well on his lead but can occasionally get a little too excited to go and smell something that he pulls but is easily/quickly corrected. He doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs while on walks but does like to sniff everything possible.
We are unsure sure of his exact breed mix but he is a strong and gentle boy with his chosen human
One of Ghosts favourite things to do is play with his toys, anything from a ball to a cuddly to a rope toy. Ghost responds to basic commands like no, bed, come but struggles to sit with the pain in his back legs.

Ghost will thrive as the only dog in the household and with someone who has the strength to be able to direct this strong golden oldie (although rarely needed).
🩺 Health Information
Ghost is castrated, vet-checked, microchipped, and vaccinations. Ghost arrived into our care with a huge testicular tumour which has been successfully removed. Ghost is building up muscle in his back legs after extensive muscle wastage and they are uncomfortable for him so is on small dose daily paracetamol.
