Charlie arrived into foster together with her sister Lola, but after assessment it became clear that living as a pair was not helping either of them thrive. The good news is that Lola has now moved to a potential adoptive home, and Charlie is still waiting for her own chance. One-to-one with a human, Charlie shows what a lovely little dog she truly is.

💔 Background
Charlie and her sister lived in the same family since they were puppies and were surrendered when the family’s newborn child developed a serious allergy. Since arriving in foster, it became clear that separating the girls allows each dog to relax and show her own personality.

Charlie is a lively, affectionate little dog who greets people with hugs and kisses. She enjoys activity and loves her walks, happily exploring the world around her.

She is a clever girl who has already started learning fetch, sit, wait, and is making good progress walking on the lead. Like many active dogs, she sometimes struggles to channel her excitement and may jump up for attention, but she responds very well to calm guidance and structure.

When walked alone, her reactivity improves significantly and she is much more focused on her person. At home she is a real softie. She enjoys cuddling on the sofa but also settles nicely in her own bed during mealtimes and at night.
