💔 Rescue Story
Bruno was born during the war, on a frontline, to a dog rescued by soldiers from a ruined village. He and his siblings were evacuated to the western part of Ukraine and raised safely in foster care, surrounded by kindness, space and other dogs. He grew up loved and secure — but with limited exposure to busy urban environments.

🐾 More About Bruno – Updated Foster Feedback
Bruno’s current foster shares:

“We haven’t seen is any reactivity or shyness with people. On walks he passes people with no problem, happily stops to say hello and allows fuss. If someone has a dog, he gets silly on the lead — leaping and whimpering because he wants to play.”

He recently spent an hour running freely in a private paddock with four other dogs and absolutely loved it. He plays beautifully, reads other dogs well, and thrives in canine company.

“He would honestly slot into anyone’s life if he has a dog companion there. He will walk for hours in all weathers, but he will also lie down and snooze. It takes him a little while to switch off — but he’s a baby.”

At home, Bruno is affectionate, cuddly and calm. He is housetrained, settles indoors, enjoys toys and learning new things, and is exceptionally easy to train. He already knows basic cues, is very food-motivated, and clearly enjoys engaging with his humans.

Bruno cannot live with cats. He was previously fostered in a home with a cat, where under unknown circumstances (no one witnessed), he heavily injured resident cat, although lived with this cat peacefully a for a few weeks before the incident. For everyone’s safety and fairness to Bruno, we are now seeking a cat-free home only. Bruno does best in a dog-only environment.

🏡 Ideal Home
Bruno will do best in a family home that enjoys walks, training and shared time. He needs another dog — ideally a friendly, playful medium-to-large female — which helps him settle, play appropriately and feel secure.

He would suit an active household that understands young dogs, enjoys positive training and allows time for maturity. With structure, companionship and consistency, Bruno is an exceptionally rewarding dog to live with.

💞 Bruno is a bright, affectionate young dog who needs the right setup — and in that setup, he truly shines as absolutely adorable loving family companion.
