β€ Rescue Story

π Detailed Information
π Arlo is a wonderful young dog β for the right home. He is a high-energy Springer who craves outdoor adventures. Hiking, running, cycling, paddleboarding, swimming β heβll be your perfect companion. Indoors, heβs affectionate and loves snuggles, though he wonβt take himself away to rest β he needs guidance and a safe place like a crate to switch off.
β Positives:
Crate-trained and sleeps overnight
Settles well in a proline-style crate (with covered sides)
Travels well in the car
No separation anxiety
Great recall when trained on a long line
Loves a swim
Takes treats gently and is very food-orientated
Not a βbarkyβ spaniel
Perfect weight for his breed β lean and muscular
Loves to play with toys (best used in short sessions to avoid obsession)
Affectionate, snuggly, and loves people
β Challenges:
Still a puppy β mouthy at times, may chew hands if not redirected with a toy (no malice, just teething and play)
Can bark and lunge at other dogs outdoors; needs careful introductions
Not suited to homes with young children (best 12+)
Needs ongoing training and structure; can be stubborn if given too much freedom
Needs secure garden β typical Springer curiosity and energy
Arlo is clever and learns fast, but he needs consistency. Short daily training sessions will keep his mind active and prevent frustration. He responds beautifully to positive reinforcement but needs an owner who wonβt let his puppy eyes get the better of them!
π‘ Ideal Family
πΎ Arlo will thrive in an active, outdoorsy home β whether a single adopter, couple, or family with older children. He isnβt suited to first-time owners or busy full-time workers. A totally secure garden is essential.
He would enjoy the company of a confident, balanced dog, but can also do well as an only dog if his humans are committed to training and exercise. The perfect match will be someone who understands Spaniels, enjoys adventure, and is ready to put in the time to help Arlo grow into the brilliant dog he can be.
π Arlo hasnβt been given the tools he needs yet, but heβs eager to learn. Underneath his bouncy puppy energy is a trainable, loving boy who will give his all to the right person. If youβre looking for a loyal adventure partner and are ready to guide him with patience, structure, and love, Arlo is waiting to start his new chapter with you. Donβt let this joyful spirit miss his chance.
