Reserved: UK Surrender (Essex): Archie- 9-month-old boy-medium to upper-medium in size

πŸ’™πŸΆ ARCHIE – A Gentle Ginger Soul Learning to Trust the World πŸΆπŸ’™

πŸ’• Archie is a 9(10) month-old ginger boy, medium to upper-medium in size, with the softest heart and the most thoughtful nature. He arrived in the UK at the end of November, full of hope, but his family, which primary took him together with his brother for potential adoption in 2 weeksΒ  decided that they two are too much for them and required to move them.

Archie was moved into emergency foster and, despite the understandable anxiety of being separated from his brother for the first time in his life, changing homes, and meeting unfamiliar dogs, he has settled remarkably well. Almost immediately, he showed just how people-oriented, trusting, and affectionate he truly is.
This is what his foster says about him:
“Archie has been with us 2 weeks now and his true personality is really shining through! He is affectionate and very playful, loves all toys and cuddles everyone. He is now fully toilet trained and also does his business on walks. He loves being out and about or just hanging out with his people, he does well with company. Any dogs in his new home should enjoy friendly play. Like all pups, he needs guidance and gentle leadership, so it’s handy that he’s smart. This gorgeous boy is ready to be a loving best friend and he promises you kisses and fun times πŸ₯°”

πŸ’” Rescue Story
Archie was found as a tiny puppy with his brother Arny and their mother in a field on the outskirts of Pokrovsk β€” now one of the most devastated cities in eastern Ukraine. Their mum was small, friendly, and clearly once loved. The family was rescued just in time and evacuated to a safer region, where the boys grew up in a home-based mini-shelter surrounded by kindness, warmth, and routine.

They are NOT TRAUMATISED, they were too young to remember the war β€” what they remember is care, safety, and human affection.

🐾 More About Archie
Archie is the softer, more submissive of the two brothers. He observes before acting, seeks reassurance from people, and forms deep bonds once he feels safe. With humans, he is gentle and affectionate. With dogs, he is polite and friendly, but he does best with calm, balanced companions rather than pushy or overwhelming ones.

🏑 Ideal Family
Archie would thrive in a quiet, rural or semi-rural home with patient people who understand sensitive young dogs. A secure grassy garden is important, as is a calm daily routine. He would benefit greatly from living with a friendly, gentle female dog who can help him build confidence and navigate the world.

Most of all, Archie needs kindness, and stability β€” not pressure.

πŸ’ž Archie is not broken or difficult. He is a young survivor who still believes in people and wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved.

🩺 Health Information
Archie is fully healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (licensed laboratory certificate provided).
