Simba is a 2-year-old small boy — gentle, affectionate and quietly playful. He can be a little shy initially, but he genuinely wants to make friends. Give him a little time and you’ll discover a cheerful dog who loves cuddling close. 💙

💔 Rescue Story

Simba was evacuated from Zaporizhzhia — a city that has lived through years of war and repeated Russian attacks.

We don’t know the circumstances of Simba’s life before his evacuation, but he was clearly someone’s pet found himself on streets, left behind or lost his family. What matters is that he was brought away from danger and is safe now.

But being safe isn’t the same as having a home. Simba is ready for the next part of his journey. 💙

🐾 More About Simba

I met Simba personally during my visit to Ukraine. He was a little shy, but also curious — you could see that he wanted to trust and connect.

He really is a soft, tender little soul. Once comfortable, Simba loves snuggling close. He carries his toys around, invites other dogs to play and thoroughly enjoys himself without being wild or overwhelming.

He watches people. Even while playing, Simba checks their reaction, almost as though asking, “Is this okay? Are you happy with me?”

He lives indoors, is good with his toilet routine and walks well on the lead.

🏡 Ideal Home

A calm, kind family who will give Simba a little time at the beginning would suit him beautifully. No pushing, no high expectations or forcing interaction — he is already curious and interested in people, so trust should be allowed to develop naturally.

We strongly prefer a home with another friendly, playful and confident dog. Simba loves canine company, and having a dog beside him should also help him feel secure while adjusting to a completely new environment.

Adult home with a secure garden in peaceful environment. Calm, patient children aged 10+ would suit him best.

💞 Simba doesn’t need someone to make him brave overnight. He needs people who will let him discover, at his own pace, that his new world is safe. Then expect cuddles, toys appearing everywhere, invitations to play — and one very sweet little boy regularly checking your face to make sure you’re enjoying life as much as he is. 💙

Simba is fully healthy, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (approved laboratory certificate provided).
