🐾 Give A Safe Haven To War Dog from Ukraine 🐾
💙🐶 FRANK – PART DOG, PART LAZY CAT… 100% MADE FOR COMPANIONSHIP 🐶💙
Frank is around 4.5 years old, a small boy and what his foster affectionately describes as a true “dog for the soul”. ❤️
He is exceptionally calm, gentle and affectionate — rather like a lazy cat who has somehow found himself in a dog’s body. Frank doesn’t need to be at the centre of everything. Give him his person, plenty of strokes and somewhere comfortable beside you, and he considers life pretty much perfect.

💔 Rescue Story
Frank once had a home and a person of his own. Sadly, his Mum, while she was still quite young, died. 😞
For a dog who forms such deep attachments to his people, losing his person meant losing the centre of his little world.
Frank has been fortunate enough to return to home life through foster care, and it is very obvious where he belongs. He isn’t a dog who needs excitement or constant entertainment — he needs that quiet connection with somebody again.
A person to follow from room to room. A pair of feet to settle beside. A hand that doesn’t mind continuing the important business of scratching Frank for considerably longer than originally planned. ❤️
🐾 More About Frank
Frank is currently living in a home-based foster and is absolutely wonderful in the house.
He is a remarkably peaceful dog. His foster jokingly describes him as a “dog-rug” — because once Frank has found a comfortable place near his person, he is perfectly happy simply lying there and keeping them company. 😁
He approaches new people calmly and without rushing. There is no drama or fuss; he takes his time, comes over and quietly makes friends.
And once Frank loves you, he really loves you. He becomes deeply attached to his people and will gently follow them around the house before settling nearby. He doesn’t need to climb all over you or constantly demand attention — he simply wants to be where you are.
Although if you start scratching him, be warned: Frank sees absolutely no reason why you should ever stop. 😂 He could happily be fussed for hours.
Frank is equally kind with the rest of the world. He is gentle with children, friendly with dogs and good with cats. He doesn’t look for conflict and doesn’t bother anyone.
With other dogs, he is sociable but calm. He may occasionally play, but he doesn’t need another dog constantly entertaining him.
🏡 Ideal Home
Frank could fit beautifully into many different families, but we think he would be particularly special for someone looking for companionship.
He doesn’t need an extremely active household. He will enjoy his walks and being included in family life, but his greatest pleasure is simply sharing his days with the people he loves.
He could live happily with a friendly resident dog or with cats, but he could equally enjoy being the only dog and having his humans to himself.
Most of all, Frank needs a family who appreciates the quieter kind of canine love — the dog who follows you into the kitchen not because something exciting is happening, but simply because that’s where you went. ❤️
💞 Frank’s idea of a perfect life is wonderfully simple. ❤️
Follow his human. Find a comfortable spot nearby. Lie down. Receive scratches for as long as human hands can manage. 😁 And repeat.
He has already known what it means to belong completely to someone, and then to lose them. Now this beautiful, tender little soul deserves to find his person again — someone whose footsteps he can quietly follow, whose side he can settle beside, and whose everyday life can become his world once more. 💙
