❤️🐶 YANA – THERE’S SO MUCH LOVE BEHIND THOSE SAD EYES 🐶❤️
Yana is around 1.5 years old, a lower-medium(to-the-knee) girl with gentle, hopeful eyes and an incredibly soft nature. She can be cautious with new people, but she is curious too — she wants to trust, she simply needs a little time to decide that she is safe. ❤️

💔 Rescue Story
Yana was adopted as a puppy, supposedly to live as a family dog in a home. Sadly, the reality was very different. Instead, she ended up chained outside to an old broken and leaking kennel.
Whatever she experienced there has made her cautious of shouting, sudden movements and frightened of things such as brooms. But she still believes that people can be kind.
🐾 More About Yana
Yana currently lives in a shelter enclosure. With someone unfamiliar, she may need little time before agreeing to walk on the lead. It is the same with affection. Give her space, let her observe and don’t push — and Yana will come to you herself. Once she trusts, she is pure tenderness. She leans towards the hand stroking her and closes her eyes with pleasure. ❤️
There is nothing extraordinary or complicated about what Yana needs. She doesn’t need to be “fixed” or a dog to work on. The biggest girt for her is little time. She simply needs kind people with no rush and no expectation that she must immediately understand her completely new life- nothing extraordinary.
🏡 Ideal Home
Yana would be happiest in a peaceful rural or semi-rural home, away from busy roads, heavy traffic and overwhelming city life.
A house with a secure grassy garden, which will give her somewhere safe to explore, relax and build a bond with her new family before she is expected to confidently walk out into a completely unfamiliar world.
She doesn’t need “work” or fixing — just kind, patient people who won’t rush her. Let her learn her new home and people at her own pace, and her natural curiosity will do the rest.
Calm, respectful children aged 8+ could suit her well. In the beginning, the whole family simply needs to avoid pushing interaction and allow Yana to come to them herself. ❤️
💞 Yana’s eyes may still carry sadness, but there is hope in them too. Give her time. Give her kindness. Let her come to you. Then watch those eyes slowly close as she leans into your hand and discovers that this time, home really does mean safety and love. ❤️
