🐾 Give A Safe Haven To War Dog from Ukraine 🐾
💙🐶 TYCE – GIVE HIM A LITTLE TIME, AND HE’LL GIVE YOU HIS WHOLE HEART 🐶💙
Tyce (Tyson) is a 1,5 -year-old upper-medium boy, calm, gentle and incredibly affectionate once he knows he is safe. He isn’t a dog who rushes blindly into every new friendship — he takes a little time to understand you first. But once that little bridge of trust is crossed, out comes a wonderfully loving young boy who brings you his toys and quietly asks you to play. 💙

💔 Rescue Story
Tyce had clearly belonged to someone once. He was seen in severe winter day wandering through a village painfully thin, with a visible mark around his neck from where a chain had been. Whatever his life had been before, this young dog had somehow ended up alone, significantly underweight and carrying the physical reminder of having spent his days tied up. (please see a picture of how he was found and video shortly after been rescued)
Thankfully, he was taken to safety.
🐾 More About Tyce
Tyce currently lives in a private rural based mini-shelter and waits patiently for his walks. On the lead he is excellent and a pleasure to take out for quiet walks in fields and woods.
His past has left him with a little caution around certain people, particularly older women. We don’t know exactly what happened to him, but something has clearly taught him to be wary.
There is no aggression. If he feels unsure, Tyce simply becomes small in himself, puts his ears back and watches. Give him a little time and gentle treatment, and he quickly begins to relax.
Once he knows you, you meet a completely different Tyce. He becomes incredibly affectionate, soft and loving, and one of his sweetest ways of connecting with people is through his toys. Tyce absolutely adores them. He will choose a toy, carry it over to his person and carefully place it beside their feet — or even straight onto their lap — as his very polite invitation to play.
For a young dog, he is actually more on the calm side. He enjoys playing and having fun, but he isn’t constantly bouncing around looking for something to do.
Other dogs are a huge source of happiness for him. He loves canine company and really enjoys playing, so we would ideally like him to have a friendly resident dog in his new home. We feel a friendly female dog would be the best match for him.
🏡 Ideal Home
Tyce needs kindness much more than he needs experience or complicated training.
He would thrive in the house with a private secure garden with calm, patient people who won’t rush those first introductions and will simply allow him to discover, in his own time, that nobody in his new home is going to hurt him.
Because sudden movements can worry him, we are looking for a home with children aged 13+.
A friendly female resident dog would be highly recommended. She could give him companionship, playtime and additional confidence while he adjusts to an entirely new life.
Once Tyce feels secure, there is so much waiting underneath that initial caution — affection, gentleness, playfulness and a very strong desire to connect.
💞 Tyce doesn’t need weeks of convincing to love you. He simply needs a little time to check that your hands are kind. Then one day, a toy will quietly land in your lap. And you’ll know you’ve been chosen. 💙
