Nala is a 1-year-old medium girl with a gentle, thoughtful nature. She can be a little shy at first and prefers people to give her the chance to approach in her own time. But it doesn’t take long! Give her just little time and Nala becomes wonderfully affectionate and wants to stay close. ❤️

She is clever, calm for her age and happiest in a peaceful environment with a friendly canine companion beside her.

💔 Rescue Story

Nala’s story began behind a row of abandoned garages, where a homeless mother dog gave birth to her puppies. One by one, homes were found for the little ones. But somehow Nala was the one left behind.

She was still only a small puppy when she was found and taken into rescue care, giving her the chance to grow up somewhere safe rather than becoming another young dog trying to survive on the streets.

She has waited much longer than her siblings for her own family. Now we hope it is finally Nala’s turn. ❤️

🐾 More About Nala

Nala currently lives in a flat in Lviv city, without a garden, and manages normal city home life beautifully. She is housetrained, walks nicely on the lead and is used to going outside for her toilet and exercise.

When meeting someone new, Nala doesn’t immediately throw herself into their arms. She prefers to watch and wait for the person to approach gently. Then the tail starts wagging, and as trust develops, you discover just how affectionate she really is.

Once Nala feels safe with you, she loves physical affection and naturally follows her person around. She is also a very clever girl who learns quickly and remembers what she has been taught.

Despite being young, Nala isn’t a dog who needs constant excitement. She particularly enjoys long, unhurried walks where she can take her time exploring.

At home, one of her favourite occupations is gathering lots of toys around herself and then quietly playing with her little collection. 🧸❤️

And she has a very healthy appreciation for food too.🤣 This would help in her future training.

Other dogs are particularly important to Nala. She loves canine company, enjoys playing and gains emotional security from having another dog nearby. For this reason, a friendly resident dog is essential in her future home.

She also currently lives with cats. She isn’t aggressive towards them and likes to quietly investigate what they are doing.

🏡 Ideal Home

Nala needs a peaceful, predictable home where nobody expects her to become their best friend within the first five minutes.

She doesn’t need people to “bring her out of her shell” by pushing interaction. Quite the opposite. Give her space, kindness and the freedom to approach at her own pace, and the relationship can develop naturally.

Another friendly, settled dog is essential. A canine companion will give Nala reassurance while she adjusts to a completely new country, home and routine.

We would particularly love a quieter home where she can enjoy relaxed walks, toys, companionship and plenty of gentle affection once she is ready for it. A garden would be lovely.

💞 Nala isn’t looking for the loud or busy home. She is looking for her peaceful little world — a kind person she can learn to trust, a canine friend beside her, lovely walks without rushing and a comfortable corner where she can surround herself with all her favourite toys.
