Lorena is a 3-year-old lower-medium (below the knee) girl, calm, deeply affectionate, and beautifully well-mannered. She is one of those dogs who quietly attaches herself to her person and simply wants to stay nearby, sharing everyday life with gentle devotion 💛

💔 Rescue Story

Lorena was abandoned in a village together with Pammie and another dog. The three settled in a school yard, where they survived for almost a year. The local children loved them and brought them food. But during one winter, one of the dogs was poisoned to death. Lorena and Pammie were taken away to safety before the same could happen to them too.

Lorena lives indoors and behaves beautifully at home. She is clean, calm, non-destructive, and very easy to live with.

She walks well on the lead and absolutely loves walks off lead, staying naturally connected to her person and following beautifully.

She approaches people immediately and is incredibly affectionate.

At the same time, there is a quiet sensitivity about her. She is afraid/doesn’t like when someone touches her neck — likely because of something painful from her past — so she walks comfortably on a harness instead of a collar. Or if there will a be a collar- she should never be grabbed there and never walked with a leash attached to collar.

She lived with children and is friendly with them, but because of her neck touch sensitivity we recommend respectful children 10+ years old, who will not challenge her.

She is wonderfully trusting and loving. Lorena gives her paw, learns quickly, and seems happiest simply being close to her humans.

She does not bark unnecessarily, does not create chaos at home, and carries herself with a calm, peaceful presence.

With dogs, she is tolerant and polite but does not actively seek play or interaction. Much like Pammie, she prefers calm coexistence over noisy doggy games.

Lorena would thrive either as the only dog or with another calm, respectful companion dog. Calm environment, house with a garden.

She would suit a peaceful home looking for a affectionate and emotionally balanced companion. A gentle routine, lovely walks, kindness, and closeness to people would make her happiest.
