💔 Rescue Story
Betsy was abandoned near a monastery— a place people see as sacred, yet even there people often left dogs behind and what is the most sad, particular there dogs often got killed and poisoned.
She stayed close to people, quietly approaching, gently seeking connection, as if hoping someone would notice her and not turn away.
Despite being left like that, she didn’t close off. She remained soft, open, and hopeful — just waiting for someone kind.

Betsy lives indoors and behaves beautifully. She walks good on the lead and is very easy to handle.

She approaches people, but in the gentlest way — pressing close, leaning in, as if asking for affection without words.

She is incredibly tender. When she is next to a person, she almost holds her breath… staying very still, very quiet, as if afraid to disturb the moment.

She is calm, but not lazy by nature, happy to walk, have little play, join in with other dogs, but more drawn to peaceful companionship and closeness with people.

She loves all dogs and gets along with everyone, never competing, never demanding anything for herself.

There is something deeply moving about her — she seems grateful for every touch, every kind word, every moment of attention.

Betsy would suit a calm, loving home where her gentle, sensitive nature will be understood and cherished. Not busy environment, house with a garden and nice nature walk.

She would be happy with another friendly dog or as the only dog, as long as she has close human connection and not left alone (especially the first 2-3 weeks when settling).
