💙🐶 MILO – A Young Boy Who Needs Guidance, Structure and the Right Match 🐶
🐾 Meet Milo, a 1-year-old male mixed-breed boy who was adopted in October 2025 but now sadly needs to be rehomed again. The main challenges are Milo’s struggle with contact with wife (prefers and loves males), not getting along with cats (loud whining/ growling particularly during the night), destructive particular with shoes and partially failed housetraining.
Milo is still very young and emotionally immature. He is affectionate, lively, and full of potential, but he lacks mental stimulation, confidence and structure.

💔 Rescue Story
Milo’s beginning was heartbreaking – he and his siblings were surrendered to a municipal kill shelter when they were only one month old. Tiny, helpless, and unwanted, they were saved by rescue volunteers just in time and given a chance to grow.
Milo’s life has already been full of change for such a young dog. After a very difficult start, he arrived in UK and was adopted in October 2025 and finally had a place to call home. Unfortunately, despite everyone’s good intentions, the situation hasn’t worked out as hoped and the family has now asked for Milo to be rehomed.
Like many young dogs who experience early upheaval and then another move, Milo hasn’t yet had the chance to develop firm routines or consistency in everyday life. He understands the basics and is eager to please, but without steady structure, clear guidance, and repetition, some foundations — such as housetraining — were not fully solidified.
This isn’t a reflection of Milo’s character or intelligence. He’s a bright, willing boy who simply needs the stability, patience, and calm consistency that allow young dogs to truly succeed. With a predictable routine, mental stimulation and positive reinforcement, this is something we fully expect to settle in the right home.
🐾 More About Milo
Milo can be very affectionate, especially with men, and forms bonds quickly. He enjoys being close to his people and settles well in the house, sleeping upstairs and coping when left alone for short periods. 💔 Rescue Story

Outdoors, Milo prefers quiet walks and avoids contact with unfamiliar dogs. He enjoys running freely in the garden and benefits from calm, predictable environments. He is shy by nature and needs reassurance.
In the home, Milo’s anxiety currently shows through destructive behaviour with shoes, and through barking at cats, particularly at night. These are signs of stress and lack of confidence rather than aggression. With the right structure, training, and calm handling, these behaviours can be improved.
🏡 Ideal Home
Milo needs an experienced, patient home that understands young, sensitive dogs and is willing to work through training and confidence-building. He would suit an adult-only household or one with older, dog-savvy teens. A home without cats is essential.
He will do best with someone who can provide routine, calm leadership, and time — not punishment. Milo is a young dog who needs guidance, consistency, and understanding to help him feel secure.
💞 Milo has already experienced more change than any dog his age should. With the right people, he has every chance to grow into a stable, affectionate, and loyal companion. He needs someone to believe in him and help him succeed.
🩺 Health Information
Milo is fully healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Vet records are available.
