🐾 Give A Safe Haven To War Dog from Ukraine 🐾
❤️🐶 LILA – A Little Soul Searching for Her Place in the World 🐶❤️
LILA is a delicate, small-sized Chihuahua cross, around 3 years old, who arrived to the UK just 10 days ago. But sadly, her foster-to-adopt home turned out not to be the right match (didn’t get along with 2 visiting family dogs and not comfortable in busy outside environment) , and now this sweet girl is looking for the forever family she truly deserves.
🌟 Highlights:
🔹 SIZE: Small (37 cm shoulder height / approx. 6 kg)
⚕ SPAYED: Yes
⭐ CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Affectionate, sensitive, loyal, clever
🐕 DOGS: Friendly and playful, not suitable for timid or old not keen to play dogs
🐱 CATS: Friendly
👶 CHILDREN: Best suited to calm, dog-savvy children 10+
💔 Rescue Story:
💔 Lila was rescued from heartbreaking neglect—kept on a short chain through the harsh Ukrainian winter, with no shelter or clean water. Her “home” was nothing more than a wooden box in the cold. The police had to step in to remove her, and it’s a miracle she survived at all.
Despite everything, Lila never gave up hope. She met her rescuers with gentle eyes and quiet trust, and slowly began to believe that love might still be possible.
🐾 More About LILA:
🐾 Since arriving in the UK, Lila has shown what a precious companion she is. She’s fully housetrained, sleeps peacefully downstairs in her own bed, and is very affectionate once she bonds with you. She forms attachments quickly and loves being close to her humans—ideally, cuddled up on your lap or right by your feet.
🚶♀️ Outside, Lila is still adjusting. She can be leash-reactive on walks in busy places—bikes, cars, people, and other dogs can overwhelm her. She needs a quiet rural or semi-rural environment, where she can build confidence at her own pace without overstimulation. Off-lead, she’s shown she can interact with other dogs nicely.
🐕 With other dogs in the home, she could live with a confident, stable, and friendly companion, but would not suit living with very submissive dogs. She reads energy quickly and thrives with balance and gentle routine.
Her foster describes her as:
“A real cuddly girl once she gets to know you… fully housetrained, calm indoors, really well behaved. She has a lot of love to give the right person and is a gorgeous little girl.”
“Lila is confident around other dogs off lead. It’s just my two haven’t taken to her.”
“Saying about not getting along with my dogs, I don’t mean she is aggressive with my dogs. Just rough play, but they are older and don’t like it.”
“I just want the best for Lila and will be sad to see her go.”
🏡 Ideal Family:
🏡 Lila will do best in a peaceful, rural or quiet-suburban home with a secure garden and humans who are around most of the time. She’s ideal for a single person or couple who can give her the steady rhythm she needs—someone patient, loving, and ready to let her bloom at her own pace.
She’s not ready for city living, busy roads or crowded parks, or unpredictable chaos—but in the right setting, she’ll be the most devoted little shadow you could hope for.
💖 Why Lila?
💖 Because she survived unimaginable neglect and still wants to love. Because she doesn’t want much—just to belong. If you can offer Lila a place to rest her tiny paws and her tender heart, you’ll gain a loyal best friend for life.
🩺 Health Information:
Lila is fully healthy. Spayed. Has all core vaccines done and is microchipped.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
If you can open your heart and offer a quiet space for a little soul who’s learning how to love again—LILA is waiting.
