💔 Why a New Home Is Needed
Sid and his little friend Ted sadly lost their home when their family’s rented accommodation no longer allowed pets. Both were loved and well cared for, but through no fault of their own, they needed urgent rescue help.

Sid arrived deeply frightened and reactive — barking, growling, and lashing out at everyone, including me, my children, my dogs, and even his old friend Ted. He was lost and confused, his whole world turned upside down. The first night, I stayed beside him on the floor, trying to help him feel safe. He barked, growled, then came for cuddles, then back to barking again… until, finally, he started to relax.
Three days later, the change was astonishing. The same scared little Daxie became one of the most loving, affectionate, and trusting dogs I’ve ever met. Now Sid adores sitting on laps, melts into cuddles, and even behaved perfectly at the vet’s. He’s still a bit unsure around men, but already started trusting my husband. With women, he’s pure love — gentle, sweet, and loyal.

Sid is bright, affectionate, and sensitive. Once he bonds, he becomes a little shadow who follows you everywhere. He’s house-trained, well-mannered indoors, and enjoys calm walks. He’s not suitable for a very busy household or young children, as he can get overstimulated by noise and fast movement.
We recommend pairing male dogs with female dogs to prevent potential competition, even if it hasn’t been an issue in the past. Prevention is always better.
