π Why a New Home Is Needed
Sid and his little friend Ted sadly lost their home when their familyβs rented accommodation no longer allowed pets. Both were loved and well cared for, but through no fault of their own, they needed urgent rescue help.
πΎ Rescue Story
Sid arrived deeply frightened and reactive β barking, growling, and lashing out at everyone, including me, my children, my dogs, and even his old friend Ted. He was lost and confused, his whole world turned upside down. The first night, I stayed beside him on the floor, trying to help him feel safe. He barked, growled, then came for cuddles, then back to barking againβ¦ until, finally, he started to relax.
Three days later, the change was astonishing. The same scared little Daxie became one of the most loving, affectionate, and trusting dogs Iβve ever met. Now Sid adores sitting on laps, melts into cuddles, and even behaved perfectly at the vetβs. Heβs still a bit unsure around men, but already started trusting my husband. With women, heβs pure love β gentle, sweet, and loyal.
πΆ Detailed Information
Sid is bright, affectionate, and sensitive. Once he bonds, he becomes a little shadow who follows you everywhere. Heβs house-trained, well-mannered indoors, and enjoys calm walks. Heβs not suitable for a very busy household or young children, as he can get overstimulated by noise and fast movement.
We recommend pairing male dogs with female dogs to prevent potential competition, even if it hasnβt been an issue in the past. Prevention is always better.
π‘ Ideal Family
Sid would suit a calm, understanding home β ideally with someone around most of the day. Heβd love a peaceful environment with gentle routine and patient people who can give him time to settle and continue to build his confidence. Another kind, calm female dog could help him feel even more secure.
π Sidβs journey proves how quickly love and patience can heal fear. From a trembling little βT-Rexβ to a loving cuddle bug in just days β heβs ready to give his heart completely. Whoever welcomes Sid will gain a devoted, loyal, and affectionate little friend for life.
π©Ί Health Information
Sid is healthy, vaccinated, and microchipped. Neutering will be arranged by the rescue once he reaches 18 months, as advised by the vet. Dental care or any further treatment will also be provided if needed.
