Patch’s family adore him, but due to a hip fracture and partner’s heart failure, they are physically unable to give such a young, lively little dog the walks, playtime, and stimulation he needs. With heavy hearts, they reached out for help to give Patch a better chance at a full and active life — something they can no longer manage.

Patch is a truly lovely little soul — sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully social. He enjoys every person he meets and behaves beautifully around children. He is playful, gentle with his toys, and loves fuss and cuddles. He lived harmoniously with four cats and is friendly with dogs he meets on walks.
He knows his name, understands “down,” and is very eager to please. He’s used to living in a home with a garden and loves doing little puppy zoomies. The only thing he struggles with is being left alone — he’s still very much a baby boy and thrives on human company.
Patch will be neutered by the rescue shortly, so he needs a local foster home from tomorrow and after neutering to help him recover safely for a few days.
