🐾 Maily (1 year, lower-medium) and Nick (9 months, medium) are two souls who found each other after heartbreak – and now they cling together as best friends, offering each other comfort, play, and devotion.
🐾 Nick and Maily arrived in the UK only recently, hoping their long journey from a war-torn country would finally lead them to safety, stability, and love. They are with a foster in Scotland now, but their current foster can no longer keep them due to personal circumstances. This situation is urgent – they need a new foster or adoptive home as soon as possible to avoid being placed in boarding, which would be heartbreaking and highly stressful for them after everything they’ve been through.
They share an emotional connection formed. The dream is still to find them a home together.

💔 Rescue Story 💔
Maily once lived in a family with five dogs. When war struck, tragedy followed – her owner’s husband was killed on the frontline, and the woman fled abroad, able to take only the three smallest dogs. Maily was left behind, confused and heartbroken.
Nick’s beginning was equally cruel. As a tiny puppy, he and his siblings were thrown into fields like rubbish. By chance, volunteers found them, and while his siblings were adopted, Nick remained behind.
They later met in a small private shelter. From the very first days, they were inseparable – she became his comfort, he became her joy. They formed a bond that helped them cope with their losses and learn to trust again.

❤️ Maily is calm, balanced and loving – the kind of girl who adapts to any family. She’s gentle, people-focused, adores children, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She has an easy-going nature and is happiest when close to her people – or when Nick is by her side.
💙 Nick is a true wonder pup – bright, sensitive, and astonishingly clever for his age. He understands with half a glance, learns with ease, and has the playfulness of a puppy balanced by a surprising calm. He idolises Maily, and his joy multiplies when she’s near. With people, he’s trusting, affectionate, and quick to bond.
Together, they are a team – balancing each other, comforting each other, and bringing out the best in one another.

Nick and Maily need a calm, understanding home willing to give them time to decompress properly, with patience and structure. A rural or quiet area with a secure garden would be ideal, especially for Maily, who is sensitive to urban noise and needs a peaceful environment to feel safe.
