Milka’s life began in the shadows of war. A tiny, lonely puppy stumbling through the ruins, frightened yet still hopeful enough to approach the volunteers who found her. She had no family, no shelter, nothing to call home — just her brave little heart beating through the explosions and chaos around her.
She was evacuated from the war zone and carried to safety, wrapped in the arms of people who refused to leave her behind. From that moment, her story changed. Milka was given warmth, food, and gentle hands for the very first time. And in return, she offered nothing but love, trust, and tenderness.

Milka is a soft, affectionate, loving girl — the kind of dog who melts your heart without even trying. She loves people, adores cuddles, and trusts everyone she meets. She’s playful but not overwhelming, lively yet perfectly balanced.
With other dogs she is sweet and friendly, though she can feel a bit overwhelmed by pushy personalities — even puppies manage to boss her around because she’s too gentle to stand up for herself.
Her foster says she loves water, falls asleep on slippers, and enjoys watching television — a little homebody with the soul of a baby deer. She’s housetrained, calm indoors, and brings a quiet joy to every room she enters.
