🐾 Meet Katie – a 10–11-month-old spaniel girl with a tender heart and a fountain of energy. Recently surrendered through no fault of her own, she is now spayed, microchipped, safe, and ready for a fresh start with a family who will finally give her the chance she has always deserved.
I met and assessed her myself — she is sweet, loving, social, slightly submissive but not fearful, eager to bond, and wants so much to please. She’s smart, sensitive, and full of joyful, bouncy enthusiasm. She loves her walks, running, exploring, and especially anything that involves a ball — it’s pure happiness for her.

Katie was surrendered after just a week in her previous home, but unfortunately people decided she was not a good match for them due to them being used to small and less active dogs.
Now she finally has the chance to find a family that will help her bloom instead of giving up at the first challenge.

Katie is sunshine wrapped in fur — loving, joyful, and endlessly enthusiastic. She is indeed active: a happy, high-energy spaniel who needs her fun, movement, enrichment, and plenty of walks. But she’s not chaotic; she simply has a young dog’s zest for life and a very clever, busy mind.
She melts into affection, leans lovingly into hands, and bonds deeply with “her” humans. She enjoys other friendly dogs but can be a little submissive around stronger personalities. Her nature is pure sweetness — no malice, no stubbornness, just a girl who wants to love and be loved.
She sleeps soundly through the night, is learning house manners well, and will thrive with consistent, gentle guidance and a bit of structure.

Katie will thrive with an active family — someone who enjoys adventures, walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. She needs a home that understands her energy and will turn it into fun and learning, not frustration.
She would be very happy with a friendly resident dog (ideally not too bossy), but she can also be the only dog if she receives enough stimulation, affection, and time with her people.
She loves humans of all ages, including children who are gentle and respectful. Katie needs someone patient, consistent, and ready to show her the world — because she is so eager to shine for the person who believes in her.
