No one came for her. Whether her family fled or simply abandoned her, no one knows. What’s certain is that Eva didn’t give up. She stayed kind, social, and hopeful — greeting strangers with soft eyes and a wagging tail, as if saying, “I’m still here… I’m still waiting.”
