💕Blacky is a 1.5-year-old girl of upper-medium size, a beautifully balanced companion who carries the warmth and friendliness of a family dog. She has the easy-going charm often seen in Labradors (might have Lab gens in her) — playful, people-loving, and always ready to share a moment. Blacky is bright, affectionate and wonderfully tuned in to her humans, a young dog who wants nothing more than a secure home where she can flourish once again.

💔 Rescue Story
Blacky once lived in a home and knew the comfort of her own bed, familiar faces and daily affection. When war broke out, her family were forced to flee their region. They took her with them during the chaos, trying to keep her safe while moving across Ukraine in search of security. They protected her as best they could, but eventually faced the heartbreaking reality that they could not take her abroad.
They brought her to the rescue — not because they didn’t love her, but because they hoped someone else would give her the stable, peaceful life they no longer could. Blacky didn’t understand the circumstances, only the sadness of being left behind. Yet she has remained trusting and full of hope, as if she believes that someone, somewhere, is meant for her.
Now living in a multi-dog home-based shelter, she sleeps indoors, keeps clean, and waits patiently for her second chance.

Blacky is joyful in the purest way. She adores play, especially anything involving balls — chasing them, carrying them around proudly, even bringing the lead to her carers to hint that she’s ready for a walk. She seeks out people gently, nudging a hand or leaning in for fuss and cuddles, and she has a lovely habit of trying to involve humans in her games.
She’s also wonderfully responsive: a raised voice or a firm tone is enough for her to pause and settle, showing she knows exactly what is expected of her. Indoors she is clean, calm and housetrained, with lovely manners for a young dog. Socialising comes naturally; she enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly resident companion, though she could manage as an only dog if she receives plenty of attention and interaction.
There’s something deeply companion-like about her — she wants to be by your side, involved, and cherished.
